Review:
The third book in this series was so far the best book. I think they will continue to only get better with each book, because it seems like each newer book Smith is learning what to do and what works and what sounds good. There are 7 books out right now, but there is going to be 10, as far as i know, total. I am worried about books 8-10, because its rumored that LJ Smith has been fired from writing them and that the ghost author who will be finishing the series will still be using her name. I know it sounds confusing and youre probably saying to yourself "how can that happen?" but if you google it there is a "supposed" letter from lj herself that tells you everything. I have no idea if its true or not, but it seems a little legit, but ill keep looking into it.

Back to the review on this book. There may be a little bit of spoilers if you arent this far in the series, but nothing to ruin the story, but becareful. If you want to be more careful just move onto the conclusion =]. Anyways i think that the way Smith describes Elena's transformation is flawless. I really like how Smith decided it would go. Most vampire books describe it as painful or that everything just goes back to normal, like the person transforming just wakes up and is the same. I also like the way Elena dealt with being vampire and not being able to go back to regular life. It was so tough to read her sadness, especially when she goes back to house and goes to see Matt. The end is really good, but i hope that doesnt stay that way through the rest of the books, because what could happen the books revolved around that. done with possible spoilers. I honestly couldnt put this book down. The first day i only read 4 chapters, and then today when i decided to read more finally, i read the rest of the 12 chapters that were left. It really does get good after the first 6 chapters id say.

Overall:
I really loved this book. It kept you reading to see how Elena was going to cope with everything and what was going to happen in the end. Its amazing how the end turns out, i never saw that coming and once Elena puts things together you do at the same time and ask yourself, just like she did, how you never saw that. Id recommend this to everyone whos likes vampires.
