Review:
The fourth book in this series, Dark Reunion, is told in Elena's friend Bonnie's perspective, for reasons told in book three. I really liked this change in narration, i usually do though. I love when books tell more than one point of view, it shows you how genuine the story is and how it effects everyone. I remember when i first started this series, as you know i did read the first 3  books a couple years ago and never picked them up until i recently started re-reading them, that when i got to this book i read the first chapter and stopped there. I didnt understand where the story would go after book three, and thought maybe a romance would happen between a certain guy and bonnie and was not happy about it so i just stopped there. Im really glad that that premonition wasnt true. It was really good and im glad i got to see Bonnie grow as a person and as a witch. I also really enjoyed her diary entries. I thought that this book was thought through really well.

WARNING: This portion of the review will have spoilers. I loved seeing how Bonnie handled things. You could tell in the other books that she was a very fragile girl, especially now having all this weight on your shoulders, because you can do things that no one else can. Im also really glad that this book was clearly Bonnie's perspective and not something that could be passed off as Elena's perspective. You could tell that these were things that Elena might not do, or even think of. The only thing that i didnt really like was when Bonnie offers her blood to Stefan. I felt like that was taboo. Other than that part though i really liked it, and i feel like something is either going to happen with her and matt or her and Damon.

Overall:
This was such a good fourth installment. I especially loved the ending. I cannot wait to read the next book, because i have no idea whos perspective it will be in. This series really does stay true to its initial plot. What i mean is it isnt a book that is scattered and can go anywhere at any point. You can see the growth of each of the characters and see them changing and growing, and it isnt sudden changes, you can actually see them develop over time. You can even see the development of events happening. This series is really well written and im going to be really sad when i get to the 7th book, because thats when the new author takes over the series, and i have no idea what is going to happen.
