Review:
This, to me, was one of those books whose description sounded promising, but the cover always through you off. There isn't anything wrong with the cover, and green is my favorite, but it just wasnt eye catching enough to make you read it before another book. Well this week i have been reading prequels apparently, my last review was a prequel the strange case of Finley Jayne, and so i found it fitting to read this one and find out if i should buy the next book.

Well, good thing for prequels, because like the last review i am buying more from this series!! Kaylee is a very unique character. She seems quiet, but stubborn and like she is the perfect friend to have, but Kaylee has something wrong with her; her panic attacks. This prequel had me hooked from the beginning, i read in one hour and couldn't put it down once. It is also very emotional. With her waking up in a psychiatric hospital it brings up emotions of abandonment and it makes you think what if that happened to me? Another character i love is Lydia. She reminds me SO MUCH of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I know Lydia has black hair, but i couldn't get Luna out of my head while readng it.
I cannot wait to buy the next in this series, i feel like this series has a lot of promise =D

Overall:
I loved this prequel. There was just enough to keep you interested and get you HOOKED. There was a lot of emotions that it brought up, such as sadness, abandonment, and laughter at some of the things she would say. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in the Soul Screamers series, and anyone who is looking for a light, quick read. Very interesting and Very, Very good.
