Have you ever read a novel out of your usual genre and really liked or loved it?
I have just had this experience with "The Girl in the Park" by Mariah Fredericks. It is a YA contemporary/mystery I would say. Its definitely much different from my usual YA paranormal, but it was really good. It had you guessing the whole time of what could have happened to Wendy. I think its really nice sometimes when you switch up your genre a bit just to take a break from your usual reading. Even if you end up hating the book you switch for it just makes you love your usual genre that much more =D
