How do you feel about Aliens being the "new" paranormal creatures in YA novels? Do you just accept them like you do all the other favorites (i.e. vampires, werewolves, angels etc.,) or is it hard to read about them with ease?
To me they are a little farfetched. Does that make me completely insane? I mean I can buy vampires and werewolves being real NO PROBLEM, but when you tell me he is an Alien I look at you like you're nuts. I mean when I read about Aliens I don't just completely believe you about them, but I also don't let it ruin the story. I can believe in them for the duration of the book, but I don't stay up at night thinking "Ah... one day I'll find my own Alien". I don't know. I just can't jump on the Alien bandwagon just yet. They are too new of a paranormal to me. I'll have to continue on with my current Alien series and also Jennifer L. Armentrout's when it gets here tomorrow =D
