Description from Goodreads.com:
For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

Review:
To start off this review I think I want to begin with talking about the romance element in Frigid. I really want to start here first, because it was my very favorite part of this book, but also because I do want to put out a disclaimer to my readers. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. This is a very mature romance, which is why it is a New Adult and not Young Adult. I really wouldn't recommend Jennifer's younger YA fans reading her NA stuff until they are mature enough, but once they are mature enough they will see that her NA stuff is just as amazing as her YA.

I definitely wouldn't say that I am prude, or anything, but I have always been one to blush easily. Frigid definitely had me blushing A LOT, but never out of embarrassment. I think the romance in this book is dead on, and it was written beautifully. It is very sexual, but I wouldn't say raunchy. I honestly don't think it it could have been written better. Jennifer definitely knows what she is doing in the romance department. I also think that the level of romance was perfect for both the characters ages, but also the age group that New Adult novels are targeted towards.

Now, besides romance there is a thrill factor to this book, and that is the stalking. I definitely thought that it would take on a bigger role than it did. There were definitely creepy and scary parts, but it wasn't a huge part of the book. I just thought it was going to be more a focus than the romance was. Some people might complain about that, but I am not one of those people so this book was still fantastic to me.

Sydney and Kyler's friendship is a bit different. I honestly don't know how it took them so long to figure out they had feelings for each other, because the chemistry between them is very strong. The way they acted around one another was even more like a new couple than it was a best friend relationship. Alas, no matter how obvious it was to me that they were meant for each other I still enjoyed their friendship and struggle to figure out how to tell each other their feelings. I do understand why they would keep their feelings a secret for so long, because they have been friends forever. I wouldn't want to mess up that kind of friendship either.

When they do finally get their feelings out I didn't know where the relationship was going to go. It was a very touchy subject and it could have ended up in flames. They were still afraid of losing each other in their lvies so they kept a lot of feelings still bottled up, but I think Jennifer did an amazing job to kind of balance everything out and make the story work in her favor.

Then there is the ending. I absolutely loved it! I think it was perfect and wasn't too neat and fairy tale like. There were bumps along the way and hurdles that both Sydney and Kyler had to get through, and I think that made the story much more authentic.

I would not have changed a thing about Frigid. I don't know how many times I will say this in my reviews, but until everyone gets on board with Jennifer I will keep on saying it. I absolutely love her work! She is an amazing author and story teller, and I will forever continue to be a huge fan and buy all of her books without thinking. If you haven't read her stuff yet, you really need to. Once you do, you will be hooked.

Overall:
Amazing! Superb! Wonderful! Sexy! Romantic! That is how I would describe Frigid. The romance is on the money, and HOT! This book is definitely not for the younger crowd, so beware. This book was amazing, as is all of Jennifer's books. She did an amazing job dealing with a tough subject, and I think she balanced it all very well. This story could have definitely went south when dealing with a close friendship, but Jennifer maneuvered it beautifully. I definitely thought there was going to be a stronger focus on the stalking aspect, but I'm not complaining about the romance taking over AT. ALL! It is an all around fantastic story and I wouldn't change a thing.
