Hooray! It is finally the release day for the Twilight Tenth Anniversary Special Edition!!
I know that Twilight hasn't always had the best reputation, but whether you love it, hate it, or are obsessed with it (like me) you have to remember that it has opened more people up to reading. That is what's important. No matter how you feel about it, more people started picking up books, and that's awesome!
For me, Twilight holds a very special place in my heart. I have always been a book lover, but I didn't become book obsessed until Twilight. I never knew that YA existed until my cousin Sarah force-fed me to read Twilight. I honestly thought she was crazy when her and her friends became obsessed with this series. She even talked about one day going to Forks, Washington to find her own Edward. I thought I was going to have to convince her parents to commit her, but then I read it and I completely understood! I read each book in a day, back-to-back, and when I was done with the series I felt completely empty. What was I going to read now? That is when I found the YA genre, and it opened me up to thousands of books. Eventually, I wanted to share my thoughts on the books I read, and thus, Book Bite Reviews was born.
Twilight started it all for me, and I couldn't be more grateful to it and my cousin Sarah.
Any day now I should be getting my copy in the mail from Barnes & Noble, and I can't wait to start reading it!
